Six short stories explore three faces of dominance: the lover, the teacher, and the wolf. In these spanking and bondage stories, independent women put themselves in the strong hands of dominant men. Both find their needs met through the lover's pursuit, the teacher's discipline, and the wolf's consuming passion.
From the first story:
"They held hands as the singers sang of drinking, love, and death. When the singing stopped, he kissed her. He tasted of coffee and bourbon, and smelled of Lifebuoy soap. She pulled his head down to hers, and then pulled his hand to her knee. He needed no second invitation, and took her on the couch under the distant regard of his parents, grandparents, brothers, and sister, all looking down from the wall. They found they shared an appetite for pain, given and received. And pleasure."
The stories range in location and time from the mid-twentieth century until today, and from Latin America to the American West and the great port cities of the coasts. The characters include hipsters and ranchers, school teachers and artists, tourists and professionals.
The collection is about 15,000 words and each story is illustrated with safe-for-work art. Reading this book out loud to a group of friends might cause blushing all round.
Or not. Depends on you .. and your friends.
